Twelve (12) Brno armchairs, designed by Ludwig Mies Van Der Rohe Brno for Knoll Industries, 10 in black leather and 2 in dark navy leather, all with leather arm pads. Eight (8) with Knoll Inc. labels to underside, two (2) with Knoll dust cloth covers, two (2) without labels. One navy chair stamped "Knoll Studio Mies van der Rohe" to the underside of one arm. Dimensions: 31 1/4" H x 22 3/4" W x D 19 1/4" D. All 20th century. Note: These were originally designed by Mies van der Rohe in 1930 for his Tugendhat House in Brno, Czech Republic.
PROVENANCE: The Guardsmark Collection, Lipman Holdings International, Memphis, Tennessee.
CONDITION: All black chairs with scattered minor wear to leather and minor wear and scratches to polished chrome bases. Two navy chairs in very good condition.
