Grouping of five (5) Native American baskets including: a Hopi Second Mesa coiled basket tray with radiating star design, 12″ dia.; Native American, possibly California, basket tray, coiled and twill construction, with red polychrome diamond design, 9″ dia.; Southwest Indian, possibly Akimel O’odham (Pima) coiled basket bowl with devil’s claw meandering path design, 4 1/2″ H x 6 3/4″ dia.; Penobscot (Maine) round lidded ash basket with curled and polychrome weavers, 4 1/4″ H x 8″ dia.; and a Penobscot (Maine) round lidded ash basket with curled weavers, 3″ H x 4 1/4″ dia. All items 20th century.
CONDITION: 1st item: Very good condition. 2nd item: Minor staining to the center, otherwise good condition. 3rd item: Overall good condition. 4th item: Some fading to polychrome weavers, otherwise overall good condition. 5th item: Very good condition.
