Large Persian Sarouk carpet, wool on cotton, having a central salmon field with multi-urn medallion decoration within 18 borders, the largest with alternating medallion decoration, woven in colors of salmon, rust, navy blue, and cream. 17 1/2 feet x 10 3/10 feet. Early 20th century.
PROVENANCE: A Nashville, Tennessee Estate.
CONDITION: Overall even general use wear, minor losses to fringe.
