Note: Austrian born artist Kurt Larisch worked as a graphic artist and animator in Europe before moving to Mexico in 1970 and becoming one of that country's most celebrated contemporary artists. His geometric, often surrealist abstract paintings have been described as Kafkaesque, showing the influence of Escher, Mondrian and Magritte.
