Original giltwood frame with ovolo and cove molding, corner keys, and partial label en verso reading "From William Brand Carver… " (rest is illegible). Sight: 29" H x 24-1/2" W. Framed: 37" H x 32" W. Provenance: the estate of Mary Alice Clements, Nashville, TN. Condition: Old relining, 2 old small repaired tears to shoulder and background, overall craquelure, significant inpainting to facial area. Frame regilded.
