Substantial Gorham sterling silver Rococo style repousse tea and coffee service, seven (7) pieces including a kettle on stand, tea pot, coffee pot, creamer, lidded sugar bowl, waste bowl, and large tray. All pieces in a highly decorative pattern, each with slight stylistic differences, featuring herm, mask, and dolphin details to feet, Phoenix spouts, fruit and vegetable garlands, shell and acanthus leaf motifs, and scrolling and foliate decoration throughout. Monogrammed "AB" to center of Kettle, coffee pot, teapot, and tray. Each is marked with STERLING, Gorham maker's marks, as well as additional letter codes, all stamped DI and followed by a third letter in alphabetical order from S through Y. Tray additionally stamped 28TN. Ranging in size from 3 1/2" H x 7 1/2" W x 6" D to 15 1/2" H x 10" W x 7 1/2" D. 393.22 total troy ounces. Early 20th century.

CONDITION: All items in overall very good condition with minimal surface wear. Creamer with slight warping to foot. Kettle pin with repaired break.
