Dutch School, 19th century, oil on panel landscape painting depicting a house with canal or moat; two figures are in a boat in the left foreground while a rider lets his horse drink from the water in the foreground, and a child and his dog play at the water's edge. Other houses and figures are visible in the background. Illegibly signed lower left, possibly J. Fraseman or Kruseman. Housed in an elaborate Rococo Revival period giltwood molded frame with swept edges having pierced corners. Panel: 18-1/4" H x 14-1/2" W. Framed: 26" H x 22-3/4" W. Condition: Overall craquelure, grime and darkened varnish, frame has been repainted and has some small breaks at the upper rabbet edges on each side.
