1st item: Native American blackware bowl with stylized horned serpent design encircling the body, San Ildefonso, Pueblo. 2" H x 6 3/4" dia. Circa 1900-1910. Note: This item was a wedding gift to the consignor's parents. 2nd item: American powder horn with painted Native American style decoration including geometric bands, arrows, and bird. Fitted with a wood end cap and carved wooden spout. 12 1/4" W. American or Native American, 19th century.
PROVENANCE: Estate of Raymond Holton, Knoxville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: 1st item: Water damage resulting in losses to the glaze to the interior. Scattered losses to the base and wear. 2nd item: Wear, some light surface staining, and errant marks to the horn body. Shallowing chipping to the horn end and wear to wood end cap.
