Large Native American Apache olla-form storage basket, coiled construction with 10 vertical bands of conjoined geometric decoration interspersed with floating crosses. 16 “H x approx. 15″ W. Late 19th/Early 20th century.
CONDITION: Some warpage, one t-shaped tear to one side, approx. 2″ x 2″, and one approx. 3” tear to one lower edge. The base has damage, visible on the interior, and is reinforced with bracing and leather on the exterior.
