1st item: Eleanor McAdoo Wiley (TN, 1876-1977) oil on canvas landscape, signed lower right. Unframed. 16 1/4" H x 20 1/4" W. 2nd item: Unsigned oil on canvas, attributed to Eleanor Wiley, depicting a harlequin or jester figure holding hands with a ballerina in the foreground, and fountain to the left, against a mountainous backdrop. 35 3/8" H x 51 1/2" W. History: Tennessee artist Eleanor McAdoo Wiley (1876-1977). Eleanor studied art at the University of Tennessee and Stevens Art School in Gatlinburg, TN. She was a founder of the Dulin Gallery of Art in Knoxville and member of the Nicholson Art League. CONDITION: 1st item: Unframed. Black felt applied to perimeter of canvas, minor abrasions. 2nd item: Unfinished margins, losses to upper and lower right.
