Two (2) Southwestern Native American pottery jars. 1st item: Stella Shutiva (Acoma Pueblo, New Mexico, 1935-1997) whiteware pottery jar with corrugated design to shoulder, signed in marker "S, Shutiva/ Acoma, N./ Mex." to underside. 6 3/4" H x 5 3/4" Dia. 2nd item: Florence Chavarria Browning (Santa Clara Pueblo, New Mexico, b. 1931) blackware pottery bowl or jar with stylized feather and geometric design in deep relief along shoulder, signed in pencil "Florence B./ Santa Clara Pueblo" to underside. 3 1/2" H x 5" Dia. Note: Original receipt for Stella Shutiva jar, purchased in 1975, is included with the purchase of this lot.
PROVENANCE: Property from the Collection of Jo Ann Cline Yates, Lookout Mountain Tennessee.
CONDITION: Both in very good condition with light surface wear.
