After John James Audubon (American, 1785-1851), "Nashville Warbler", No. 18, Plate LXXXIX, from Birds of America, hand-colored engraving with aquatint on wove watermarked paper, Havell edition, matted and under glass in an ebonized frame with narrow gilt inner molding. 19-1/2" x 12-1/4" plate, 27" x 19" Framed. Not examined out of glass. Circa 1830. Provenance: the estate of Margaret Wemyss Connor, Nashville, Tennessee. Condition: Sheet has been cut down in size; some fading and light foxing.
