French Ormolu Wall Clock and French Petite Sword, 2 items total. 1st item: Ormolu wall clock with a round gilt metal body and enameled Roman numerals, surmounted by a bird in nest foliate finial, sides flanked by figural dragons with foliate and swag mount to the base. Old paper instruction label en verso. Sunburst pendulum with male mask. 14" H x 9" W x 2 3/4" D. Late 19th/early 20th century. 2nd item: Small presentation sword with an engraved gilt brass handle and guard and triangular iron blade. Sheath not present. 26" length. Last quarter of 19th century. CONDITION: 1st item: Losses to gilt on bird finial, figural dragons and lower mount. Overall general wear to gilt body. Note tested for functionality. Retains winding key. 2nd item: No sheath. Oxidation to blade and blade tip worn.
