Two (2) Mark Geller (American/California, b. 1947) acrylic on canvas western landscape paintings. 1st item: Landscape scene titled "Nomads" depicting a grouping of teepees in a valley with figures seated around a lone fire, drying racks outside of each teepee and a snow covered mountain range in the background. Signed "Geller" lower right and additionally signed en verso. Housed in an ebonized wood frame with gilt liner. Sight 8 1/2" H x 11 1/2" W. Framed 15" H x 18" W. 2nd item: Winter landscape scene depicting a lone teepee in a snow covered field with smoke coming from the smoke hole. Signed "Geller" lower right. Housed in a gilt wood frame with linen matte and gilt filet. Sight 9 1/2" H x 12 1/2" W. Framed 14" H x 17" W. Note: Both paintings retain the original receipt, one from the California Art Gallery and the other from La Fuente Gallery. Both will be available to the winning bidder.
PROVENANCE: Estate of Robert Christie, Knoxville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: Both paintings overall very good condition.
