Thomas Saubert (Amerian, Montana, 20th century) oil on canvas painting depicting a young Native Amerian girl assisting an older girl with her traditional dance regalia. Signed "T. Saubert" lower left. Additionally signed and titled en verso together with The Legacy Gallery label. Housed in a foliate carved gilt wood frame. Sight 19 5/8" H x 15 1/2" W. Framed 31" H x 27" W. Note: The original receipt will be available to the winning bidder. Artist biography: A native of Montana, Saubert graduated from the Cleveland Institute of Art in 1974 with a BFA in painting and illustration.
PROVENANCE: Estate of Robert Christie, Knoxville, Tennessee.
