World War I and II archive relating to Easley Daniel Watkins. 1st item – German WWII M1940 Stahlhelm helmet including the original liner and chin strap. 2nd item – WWI U.S. Doughboy helmet, green paint. 3rd item – 1896 French Lebel cruciform blade bayonet and scabbard. 18 3/4" length with scabbard. 4th grouping – post card photo of Easley Daniel Watkins in his WWI uniform, a large photographic print showing the family gathered at the funeral of Watkin's mother, and a 1940s photograph of Watkins. Large photo with borders, 12" x 14". Condition: 1st item – wear and abrasions to helmet paint, decal intact with some losses. Liner and chin strap completely intact. 2nd item – rusted surface, remnant/portion of liner, chin strap missing. 3rd item – light wear to scabbard surface. 4th item – tears and chips to border of large photograph.
