Two Cherokee Rivercane Baskets. 1st item: Thick handled carrying basket with alternating bands of bloodroot and walnut weavers. 12 3/4" H x 10" W x 8 1/2" D. 2nd item: Small handled carrying basket with dyed bloodroot and walnut weavers with unusual band of bloodroot weavers applied around the rim, 11 1/4" H x 8" W x 7" D. Both early to mid 20th century. Condition: 1st item: Some weaver damage and staining. Wear to bottom of basket.
