Ltd, 1924. Signed by Kipling on the title page. Small 8vo, 372pp. Red leather covers, front gilt stamped with circular elephant and swastika design, gilt lettered and decorated spine; top edge gilt with satin ribbon marker. Note: In Hinduism, the right-facing (clockwise) swastika symbol has long symbolized prosperity and good luck. Each 7 in. x 4 1/2 in.
CONDITION: 1st Item (Anthology): Leather splitting along back spine seam, leaf p161/162 untrimmed corner “témoin” or “witness”. 2nd Item (Winkie): Leather splitting along front spine seam. 3rd Item (Ditties): Very good, with slight corner bumping and 1/4″ loss to top of spine.
