Bronze sculpture after "The Buffalo Signal" by Frederic Remington (American, 1861-1909), depicting a Native American on horseback holding the hide of a slain buffalo above his head, resting on a naturalistic ground. Incised "Copyright by Frederic Remington" to base. Height of Sculpture including base: 30" H x 22" W x 7" D. 20th century.
PROVENANCE: Deaccessioned by the Hunter Museum of American Art.
CONDITION: Excellent condition.
