Grouping of ten (10) carved and painted birds by Ron Holmes (Saltville, Virginia, 20th Century). All carvings signed, dated, and identified on the base underside and depicted standing on a naturalistic tree base. Birds include a pair of turkeys, a pair of ducks, one (1) blue jay, a pair of cardinals, one (1) Baltimore oriole, one (1) bald eagle, one (1) ring-necked pheasant, one (1) mourning dove, one (1) goldfinch, and one (1) robin. Ranging in size from 2 1/4" H x 3" W to 3 3/4" H x 7" W. Soutwest Virginia, 20th century.
PROVENANCE: Private Bristol, Tennessee collection.
CONDITION: All items overall very good condition with very light wear.
