One (1) sixth plate ambrotype depicting a seated elderly woman housed in a S. Peck & Co gutta percha case. One (1) sixth plate ambrotype depicting a seated infant housed in a tooled leather case (no cover). One (1) ninth plate tintype depicting a seated young girl holding a small bouquet of flowers housed in a Holmes, Booth and Hayden gutta percha case. One (1) ninth plate tintype depicting a seated woman housed in a tooled leather case (no cover). One (1) ninth plate tintype depicting a seated man with a beard housed in a tooled leather case with gilt trim (no cover). One (1) ninth plate ambrotype depicting a seated young woman housed in a gutta percha case. One (1) sixteenth plate ambrotype depicting the portrait of a young man housed in a tooled leather case. Items range in size from 2 1/8" H x 1 7/8" W to 6 1/8" H x 4 7/8" W. 9th-22nd items: Fourteen (14) pre Civil War and Confederate States of America (CSA) bills. 9th-10th items: one (1) circa 1851 Bank of the State of Georgia $20 bill from Savannah, GA, serial # 1436, one (1) November 1, 1862 State of Mississippi $50 "Faith of the State Pledged" note, serial # 5303. 11th-23rd items: Thirteen (13) February 17, 1864 CSA bills from Richmond, VA, including two (2) 50 cent fractional bill, First Series, serial # 91770/ pp F, and serial # 91792/ pp F, three (3) $5 bills with sequential serial numbers, Fourth Series, serial # 82012, 82013, 82014/ pp C, two (2) $10 bills, including one Fifth Series, serial # 16783/ pp A, and one Eight Series, serial # 32699/ pp C, four (4) $20 bills, including one First Series, serial # 70603/ pp D, one Fifth Series, serial # 3105/ pp D, and two sequential Seventh Series bills, serial # 23909, 23910/ pp A, one (1) $50 bill, First Series, serial # 79649/ pp A, one (1) $100 bill, serial # 6004/ pp C. CONDITION: The image of the two soldiers has deterioration, the face of one soldier mostly obscured, likely due to cleaning. 1 1/2" area of glass plate broken with case split at spine, two soldiers image. Image of elderly woman in partial condition. Overall craquelure, surface of young girl with flowers and young woman images. Spine of case in fragile condition, portrait of young man.
