Brady & Co., Washington, DC on back. Circa 1869. Inscription "R.E. Lee" below image and "Gen. R.E. Lee President of Washington College Lexington Va" inscribed verso. 2nd item: CDV of Union General Ulysses S. Grant. Unmarked. 3rd item: CDV of unidentified soldier in illustrated frame. Unmarked. 4th through 11th items: 8 stereoview cards — 2 Bell & Bros. cards dated 1871 depicting Arlington Cemetery, including the monument to the Civil War Unknowns; The Gettysburg Battlefield "From Little Round Top Looking across the Wheat Field" by Keystone Stereoviews; "Gen. Hancock and Staff, Gettysburg" by Webster & Albee; "Recruits going to the Front, Gettysburg" by B.W. Kilburn; "Pickett's Charge at Gettysburg," by W.H. Tipton; "Soldier's Monument, Charlestown" by Geo. J. Raymond & Co.; and "The Soldier's Farewell," unmarked. All third quarter 19th century. CONDITION: All 3 CDVs with light toning and some spots; unknown soldier's sleeves are colored blue. Small abrasion to right edge on Lee CDV. Stereoview images with light toning and edge wear, overall good condition except for the Kilburn card, which has wear and some separation of image from mount at center.
