Franklin Mint History of the United States First Edition sterling silver proof medal set, 100 medals total, numbered 7149, dated 1876-1975. Each with images of events from American history surrounded by text, stars, and year dates, obverse, explanatory text about each event, reverse. Sterling, copyright symbol, hallmarks, and number to bottom edges. Each housed in round plastic holders. All medals housed in display sleeves with silver metallic lettering, all sleeves housed in a wooden case. Medals: 45 mm (1 3/4 in.) dia., 122 total troy ounces. Sleeves: 14 in. H x 11 in. W x 1/4 in. D. Note: Lot includes Franklin Mint historical reference pamphlets for each coin, aside from 1782 and 1878, housed in blue Franklin Mint lidded box.
