Maxine Nichols McClendon (American, born 1931) Abstract acrylic on stuffed and sewn canvas painting titled "Jubilee" rendered in shades of pink and yellow, possibly representing a landscape as seen from above. Signed with additional artist's information, en verso of canvas. Arkansas Arts Center, Little Rock, AR label indicating that this painting won the purchase award during the 6th Annual Prints, Drawings, and Crafts Exhibition, 1973, with additional typed exhibition tag, en verso. Housed in a silver metal frame. Sight: 38 1/2" H x 52" W. Framed: 39 1/4" H x 52 1/2" W.
PROVENANCE: Deaccessioned by the Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts Foundation to benefit the acquisitions fund.
