Model 1860 General officer's dress sword with scabbard, probably Spanish American war period or reunion, etched blade with images of eagle, bust, sailors and soldiers. Engraved: "Gratias del servitas." Sword measures 35 1/2" L. Probably German or American made. Late 19th century. Provenance: Estate of A. Welling LaGrone Jr., Nashville, Tenn. Condition: Loose handle, some oxidation.
