1st item: Ladies 22K yellow gold Victorian Etruscan design pendant attributed to Castellani of Rome featuring a round cabochon dark blue 25mm lapis lazuli bezel set. The bezel is attached to a tubular pass-through bail. Papal stats mark indicating 18K, however, most of the piece tests 22K with only the back testing 18K. The pendant is 1 1/2" in size and has a gross weight of 30.53 grams. 2nd item: 22K yellow gold Victorian Etruscan design bracelet featuring 5 cabochon lapis lazuli. The bracelet is 5 bezels joined by floral hinges with a wheat link section terminated by a box clasp and safety chain. The bracelet tests 22K and has a gross weight of 15.34 grams. Gross weight of the lot is 45.87 grams.
PROVENANCE: Private Nashville Collection. Consignor's ancestors acquired both pieces while visiting Rome in the mid 1800s. Three other Castellani-attributed pieces from this collection were sold in our July 2022 auction.
CONDITION: 1st item: Overall excellent condition; some very minor light dents and scratches to back of pendant frame. 2nd item: Overall very good condition. Wear/losses to some filigree detailing on the gold sections at ends of chain sides.
