English mahagony tea caddy with light wood banding and inlaid eschutcheon. Interior fitted with pressed glass bowl and two compartments having ivory knobs on tops. Overall good condition with light surface scratching and losses to banding on lower left edge. Some wood loss around inner hinges. 5 3/4" H x 11 1/4" W x 5 1/2" D. Early 19th century. Provenance: Fleury estate of Knoxville, Tennessee.
