Two sterling card holders. 1st item: Calendar Rack or card holder with floral repousse frame, marks for George Sheibler (Schiebler, Scheibler, Shiebler) Sterling 6278 on underside. 3-3/4"H x 2"W. 2nd item: Elaborate figural Art Nouveau calling card case with mask, scroll, and cartouche border and central front panel depicting a swooning nude and a bird flying into the sunset (possibly Leda and the Swan). Marked Sterling 3, possible maker's mark is illegible. 3-1/2" x 2-3/4". 5.175 oz troy combined weight. Both American, circa 1910. Condition: Both have been polished and still exhibit persistent tarnish. Calendar rack lacks original cards.
