English or American Hepplewhite inlaid mahogany demilune card table. Hinged D shaped top with striated veneer and lighter wood inlay to the top edge, over an apron with inlaid center oval inside an inlaid rectangular reserve resembling quartersawn sycamore. Four square tapering legs headed by oval inlaid reserves, with string inlay terminating in inlaid cuffs. 28" H x 35 1/2" W x 35" D (Each leaf 17 1/2"). Circa 1800. Acquired from Lillian Luna Antiques, Columbia, Tennessee, 1986. A copy of the receipt is available to the winning bidder.
PROVENANCE: The Estate of Raymond White, Nashville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: Overall very good condition with an older refinished surface and overall light general wear.
