Southern Sheraton cherry two-drawer stand, likely Kentucky, poplar secondary. Plain slightly overhanging top above two dovetailed drawers with wooden pulls, the top drawer with brass escutcheon, ring turned Sheraton legs. 27 3/4" H x 20" W x 17 3/4" D. Circa 1840.
PROVENANCE: The Estate of Donley and Eunice Hill, Andersonville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: The interior and exterior has been refinished, drawer supports for upper drawer appear to be older replacements. Replaced wooden pulls and plugged holes from previous pulls visible. Lower drawer with trapazoidal patch to upper edge.
