1ST ITEM: Manuscript grant of arms, document with hand colored insignia and calligraphy granting the use of arms to William Phillip Park, signed Walter Aston Blount and Albert Woods, accompanied by two brass medals, dated 1875. 27-1/2" x 20". 2ND ITEM: Decorative box or case (empty) with Victoria Regina insignia. Transcribed Latin the motto translated into English reads "I Commit Myself to Providence". 22"l x 2 1/4"h x 6"d. Both items English, late 19th century. Provenance: Estate of A. Welling LaGrone Jr., Nashville, Tenn. Condition: 1ST ITEM: Unframed, medals detached. 2ND ITEM: some wear.
