1st item: Early 19th century Blount County, Tennessee land grant, dated 1825 and signed by Governor William Carroll (1788 – 1844). Document grants Malcomb McGregor 50 acres of land. Housed in a walnut frame. Framed – 17 7/8" H x 11 7/8" W. 2nd item: 19th century silhouette depicting a gentleman standing and attired in suit with top hat and cane, possibly modeled after the similar lithograph printed by E.B. & E.C. Kellogg depicting President Andrew Jackson. Black eglomise painted matte. Housed in a simple black wooden frame. Sight – 8 1/8" H x 4 1/8" W. Framed – 12" H x 8" W. Provenance: Blount County, TN Living Estate. Condition: 1st item: Overall toning to paper. Fold lines. 2nd item: Toning to paper. Some losses to painted matte.
