Norman Adams (England/France, 1927-2005) acrylic and watercolor on paper abstract painting comprised of black lines on a red ground surmounted by multicolored shapes. The paper is lined with events and dates under a layer of transparent paint depicting multicolored abstract forms and black lines. Signed and dated "Image NA '99," lower left. Attributed and titled on plaque. Housed in a custom frame and shadowbox with a mat under UV protectant glass. Sight: 11 1/2" H x 8" W. Framed: 21 7/8" H x 17 1/8" W x 2 1/2" D. Biography: Norman Adams was a prominent British painter of religious subjects and later in his career, abstract paintings. He studied at the Harrow School of Art and the Royal College of Art, and was a member of the Royal Academy of London.
CONDITION: Overall excellent condition.
