Federal Sheraton style mahogany daybed with matching ends having two straight slats and curved stiles, ending in ring-turned and tapered feet. Old exhibition label reads "simple daybed." Ends measure 33-1/2"H x 37-7/8"L. American, circa 1825. Provenance: the estate of Margaret Wemyss Connor, Nashville, Tennessee. Condition: Some losses to feet and surface fading. No slats or mattress.
