Belle Epoque diamond and blue enamel plique a jour flower brooch, center flower set "en tremblant", Old Mine Cut center diamond weighing approximately .60-.70 ct. (approx. J-K color, SI1 clarity), 73 rose cut and single cut diamonds in flower petals; and 50 rose cut and single cut diamonds in leaves; blue enamel flower tips. Approximately 5.5 cts total weight. 3-1/4" L x 1-1/2" W. Mounting tests as silver metal. 20.5 grams. Provenance: The estate of Dr. Benjamin H. Caldwell, Nashville, Tennessee. CONDITION: One small stone is missing in one leaf. Otherwise very good condition except for surface grime.
