Two (2) Model 1873 Prussian German artillery swords, steel guards with ridged leather grips. 1st item: guard and scabbard marked with Regiment G.A.F.I.7.H.50, blade marked with “Crown and W” stamp of Kaiser Wilhelm with date stamp of “01” beneath, as well as the maker’s mark. 2nd item: guard and scabbard marked with Regiment 5.A.F.H.64, blade marked with a crown and W with a date stamp of “07” beneath, as well as the maker’s mark. 36 in. H x 6 ½ in. W. First decade of 20th century.
CONDITION: Guards and scabbards to both swords have oxidation and pitting. Both blades are good condition with slight oxidation and pitting. Wrap has losses to leather.
