Note: President Harding spoke at a stop in Kansas City, Missouri, on June 22, 1923. Early 20th century. Framed in contemporary gilt frame. Sight: 5 7/8" H x 10" W, Framed: 9" H x 13 1/4" W. 2ND ITEM: 45 star small size American flag, dated 1903 with inscription "Benton KY Nov 1903 / Vernon Cox". Printed cotton, partial staff attached. 14" H x 23 3/4" W.Provenance: estate of A. Welling LaGrone Jr., Nashville, Tenn. Condition: Item 1: Overall in very good condition. Some fraying on edges and acid in ink has eaten away some material. Minor staining. Item 2: Overall good condition some minor stains and fraying along edges. Partial intact staff.
