1st item: Silk needlework and watercolor image of King David playing the harp with a landscape in the background. Housed in a burlwood frame with an oval eglomise glass mat having rosettes at each corner. Sight: 13 1/8" H x 11" W. Framed: 17 1/2" H x 15 1/4" W. American or English, early to mid 19th century. 2nd and 3rd items: Two (2) needlework and watercolor on silk pictures including one (1) depicting the resurrected Christ and one (1) depicting the Virgin Mother crowned and surrounded by angels, both with red silk backgrounds and housed under glass in carved giltwood frames. Sights: 7 1/2" W x 9 1/4" H. Frames: 11 7/8" H x 10" W. English or Continental, late 18th century.
PROVENANCE: Property of a Tennessee Religious Institution.
CONDITION: 1st item: Overall very good condition with slight losses to the background. Frame with some veneer loss to upper corners. 2nd and 3rd items: Discoloration, fraying, and losses to silk affecting the images. Wear and losses to frames.
