1863 Victoria Regalius Enfield Rifled Musket, walnut stock, from the Blockade Era of the American Civil War, Serial # 1091. Marked: L.A. Co. (London Armoury Company) 1863 along with the Crown logo and V.R. below on the lock. All original with the exception of the barrel which is a rifled replacement marked W.M. Large (prominent barrel maker in the 1960s). 55 1/2" total L. 39 1/2" Barrel L. Note: These muskets were shipped in 1863 to the American South. Condition: Barrel replaced with a 20th century rifled barrel (See description). Fully operational.
