Persian Qum carpet, 10'10" L x 7'2" W, wool and cotton, all over botteh and trailing vine pattern, ivory field with secondary colors of medium blue, rust, taupe and brown, old tag attached, illegible. mid-20th century. Provenance: the estate of Bertha Cochran Wright, ex-Calumet Farm, Lexington, KY. CONDITION: Overall good condition with even pile. Approximately 3 small areas of wear (2-3") and one line of some wear (less than 1/2") horizontally across rug 44" in from one end.
