1st item: Elizabeth Galbraith McIntyre Jewell (Washington/Massachusetts, 1874-1956) oil on board maritime painting of a ship moored at harbor lowering its mainsail, rendered with light impasto. Unsigned. Estate stamp inscribed "Estate of Elizabeth Jewell" en verso. Housed in a giltwood frame with gadrooning and a linen filet. Sight: 13 1/2" H x 15 1/2" W. Framed: 18 1/2" H x 20 1/4" W. 2nd item: European School maritime watercolor and gouache on paper painting depicting multiple ships in a harbor and a villa visible in a mountain range on the opposite shore. Signed "F Stuart Amos" lower left. John Sharp's Antiquarian Gallery, Nashville, TN label, en verso. Hinged mounted to mat and housed under glass in a giltwood frame. Sight: 8 7/8" H x 12 5/8" W. Framed: 17 3/4" H x 21 3/4" W.

CONDITION: 1sit item: Overall good condition with light craquelure due to heavy layering of paint. Frame with light overall general wear and one stain in the lower-left corner. 2nd item: Overall very good condition.
