Caucasian Kazak rug or carpet, wool on wool. Three primary medallions of navy, green and red on a dark red field within five borders including white ground geometric border and floral border. Woven in colors of red, navy, green, yellow and cream. 85" H x 46 1/2" W. First quarter of the 20th century.
PROVENANCE: The Tina McWhorter Trust; from the collection of John and Tina McWhorter, Memphis, Tennessee.
CONDITION: Overall good condition with some scattered wear to pile and minor losses to borders.
