Collection of nine (9) painted glass barber's bottles various forms, all with hand painted floral enamel decoration, some with additional gilt decoration. Colors include one (1) cobalt, one (1) ceruleran blue, one (1) aqua, two (2) light amber, two (2) green including one with the stopper, one (1) milk glass and one (1) satin blue example that retains the stopper. Ranging in size from 6 1/4" H to 8 3/4" H. Late 19th/early 20th century. Provenance: The collection of internationally known ragtime pianist and historian Johnny Maddox, Gallatin, TN. CONDITION: All bottles overall very good condition with no chips or cracks, light wear to decoration. Some pontils not polished.
