Lot 496: 2 Northwest Coast Native American Baskets: Tlinglet & Hupa

Two (2) Northwest Coast Native American baskets. 1st item: Hupa Yurok basket in hat form with red and black dyed geometric designs. 2nd item: Northwest Coast Tlingit lidded work basket with rattle top lid. Spruce with Greek key “fret” design. Both circa 1900.

CONDITION: 1st item: Overall very good condition, with very slight losses to a few interior weavers. 2nd item: Fading to weavers of geometric designs. A few indentations to the base.
