A contemporary gilt sterling silver and guilloche enamel musical box modeled as an egg in the manner of Fabrege. Egg opens to reveal a firebird or phoenix. The exterior decorated with flowering branches, faux pearls and pink stone, all raised on a circular base ending in four feet with a fitted wooden case. Based stamped "The Faberge Firebird Egg, House of Igor Carl Faberge, 87 FM .925 Sterling". 6 1/2" H. Condition: Three areas of loss to blue enamel, otherwise very good condition.
