Persian Sarouk carpet, possibly painted, wool on cotton. Center palmette medallion with floral sprays to each side and flowering urns to each corner, all on a red ground and within five borders. Woven in colors of red, blue, and cream.140" H x 109" W. Circa 1920's-1930's.
PROVENANCE: The Estate of Peggy Lambert, Maryville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: Overall good condition. Some scattered moth damage, very little fading or wear to pile.
