Pair of marble recumbent lions, modeled after Canova. 3-3/4" H x 7-3/4" L x 3" W. Possibly 18th century. Provenance: Estate of Judge W. Dale Young, Maryville, TN. Condition: Both lions with old repaired breaks to mid-section. Overall general wear/losses. Loss to one corner of one base, tails missing.
