1st – 4th items: Four (4) Southwest Native American baskets, including one (1) wide-rimmed bowl form with contrasting triangular designs, two (2) cylindrical forms with contrasting geometric designs, and one (1) bulbous lidded form. Ranging in size from 2 7/8" H x 8" dia. to 7 1/8" H x 13 1/8" dia. 5th item: A Mission lidded bowl form basket with arrow designs. 4" H x 5 1/4" dia. 6th & 7th items: Two (2) Northwest Native American baskets, possibly Makah, including one round trinket basket with polychrome designs and partial cedar bark base and one basketry covered pottery vase with faded polychrome decoration and partial cedar bark base. 1 3/4" H & 6 1/2" H. 8th item: Small round Northwest Native American basket with two bands of polychrome geometric decoration the the lower body. 2 1/4" H. All baskets early to mid 20th century.
PROVENANCE: Private Nashville, Tennessee collection.
CONDITION: 1st – 4th items: All pieces in overall good condition with slight scattered losses to weavers, largest measuring 1/4" H x 1 7/8" W. 5th item: Losses to rim of bowl, some darkening to weavers. 6th & 7th items: Both with losses to rim & fading to polychrome decoration. Bottle with minor scattered losses to weavers. 8th item: Losses to rim and one side, fading to polychrome decoration.
