Louis Edward Jones (American, 1878-1958) oil on board titled “Among Rugged Mountains In The Smokies” depicting a mountain scene with two large blue mountains in the background and a stream, rocks, and woods in the foreground. Signed and dated lower left “L.E. Jones 1944”. Title, name, and date en verso. Housed in a giltwood frame. 8-1/4″ H x 10-1/4″ W. Jones was an Impressionist painter from Woodstock, New York and established the Cliff Dwellers studio in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. CONDITION: Very good condition.
