1st-6th items: Set of six (6) Russian enameled silver gilt spoons, marks attributed to Ivan Saltykov, working Moscow, 1884-1897, 91 zolotniki mark (>.937 fineness). 5 3/4" L. 7th item: Silver gilt serving spoon with enameled floral scroll decoration to back of bowl and twist design to handle, .875 fineness mark with illegible assayer mark and rubbed maker's mark, possibly that of Yakov Borisov (Moscow, 1876-1896). 7 7/8" L. 8th item: Silver gilt serving spoon with enameled floral scroll decoration to back of bowl and twist design to handle, .875 fineness mark and maker's mark attributed to Ivan Zakharov (Moscow, 1856-1896). 6 1/2" L.
PROVENANCE: The Estate of Edward Laudermilk, Nashville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: All items in overall excellent to very good condition. Some light wear and oxidation to gilding, most notably on the backs of the smallest spoons. 1st-6th items: Two spoons have tiny spots of loss to white enameling at center of handle. 7th item: Small loss to half of a white enamel "bead" on back of bowl.
